The Birds Festival (Festival de las Aves), a cultural and artistic event, will take place in Comonfort on November 22nd and 23rd with the motto "Facades that Tell a Story" (Fachadas que cuentan historia). The initiative will be developed across Comonfort's neighborhoods, highlighting the participation of more than 22 local plastic artists who will transform facades into murals alluding to birds.
Carolina García, an expert in Plastic Arts and one of the event coordinators, stated: "We are very excited. The goal is to beautify our spaces and, at the same time, rescue the history of the neighborhoods through the artistic representation of our local birds, especially in the Barrio de la Rinconada, where this plastic arts action will begin."
The event is promoted by Reflejarte and Khroma Colectivo de Arte, as an action by Comonforense plastic artists belonging to civil society. The invitation to attend is open to the public to witness how local talent narrates stories on canvas and walls. #MetroNewsMx #GuanajuatoDesconocido
